• Hammersmith Community Gardens Association is an environmental charity, managing four community gardens

• Extinction Rebellion Hammersmith & Fulham (XRHF) is a local group of activists who meet weekly and organise actions demanding a more urgent response to the climate and ecological emergency. Their website is here. 

• hfcyclists are the local branch of the London Cycling Campaign; they promote cycling in the borough and organise regular rides

• The Great West Hedge - a collaboration between LBHF and the Chiswick charity Abundance - are planning to plant a hedge along the Great West Road to absorb the dual carriageway's toxic fumes and noise pollution.

• Expansion of cycle lanes, including TfL’s Cycleway 9, connecting Chiswick to Olympia

• Parcels not Pollution: a zero-emission delivery service, supported by Hammersmith BID, LBHF and TfL

• The Masbro community centre now runs on sunshine – thanks to a crowdfunded solar panel scheme

• Allotments have been established on the William Church Estate in W12

• In late 2020, LBHF piloted weekly food waste collection for 600 households: watch this space for the scheme's expansion
